Additionally to the usual topics related to religion, gender, children, class, refugees and immigration, this quarterly journal features articles and reports on the human rights aspects such as transnational organised crime, the global trade of arms, specific anti-personnel weapons, disasters, advances in medical technology, slavery, torture and other inhuman punishments, summary or arbitrary executions and capital punishment, genocide and other crimes against humanity, the laws of war and war crimes as well as human rights.
