This course highlights the knowledge and skills that health managers need for human resource management. It provides an overview of the situation of Human Resources for Health from a global perspective and subsequently discusses strategies at country level to address health workforce issues. Topics include the identification of functions and stakeholders of human resources management in the health sector; strategic planning of human resources.
