Course Content
This one-week course, in collaboration with the University Hospital Geneva and the University Hospital of Bern, provides comprehensive coverage of migration health and promotes an in-depth understanding of this topic. The course spectrum includes an overview on various healthcare challenges in host countries, covers general migration health conditions, addresses current trends, and provides deeper insights into areas related to child health, sexual and reproductive health and mental health.
Learning objectives, training objectives
The course aims at providing health professionals with a comprehensive overview on migration health trends and an in-depth understanding of health conditions and related healthcare challenges.
Target Audience
Health professionals, researchers, health managers and planners, social scientists, educators, members of international organisations, emergency relief or humanitarian assistance workers, frontline healthcare service providers, social workers, etc.
Qualifications
At least two years of professional experience and English language skills: TOEFL paper 550 / computer 213 / internet 79 - 80 or IELTS 6.0 or native speaker or completed higher education in English (with written proof)

This course is conducted in close collaboration with the University Hospital Geneva (Prof. Dr. Med. Yves-Laurent Jackson) and the University Hospital of Bern (Dr. Med. Anne Jachmann).
