Course Content
The course is particularly suitable for those interested in any of the following:
• Conditions which lead to visual loss and blindness in low-income/resource settings
• The objectives and strategy of the VISION 2020 initiative
• Planning a public health programme for eye care
• Participating in the VISION 2020 links programme between the UK and Africa
Knowledge of eye diseases is useful but not essential.
Learning objectives, training objectives
This course is part of the ICEH commitment to provide training for practitioners and programme managers in the epidemiology of diseases causing visual loss, the objectives and strategy of the VISION 2020 programme.
