Course Content
Design basics for clinical research, research methods, searching, organizing & analyzing the literature, statistics, using statistical software, IRB and informed consent: the process, presenting research, presentation of research project proposals with critiques from the experts, finding funding sources, grant writing, medical publishing, epidemiology, precepting others, perils and pitfalls in conducting clinical research

Participants will learn how to identify clinical research opportunities and become familiar with clinical research and outcomes, injury prevention, health care delivery and effectiveness research
Target Audience
Junior faculty with limited research experience, Physicians in academic and community centers who are interested in research but have little training in research basics
