Course Content
The mainstream outlook of psychiatry is today more narrow than it ought to be. This situation impedes scientific progress and has negative clinical consequences. The aim of the course will be to examine the fundamental aspects of the clinician-patient encounter, the nature of psychiatric data and the methods of data collection in clinical neuroscience, and their epistemological and metaphysical underpinnings.
Learning objectives, training objectives
The course will provide you with an up-to-date survey and critical assessment of a wide variety of theoretical and empirical issues, which are central to the problems of contemporary psychiatry as a clinical neuroscience
Target Audience
The course is for psychiatrists and clinical psychologists and others with a professional interest in psychopathology.
Qualifications
Participants are expected to have at least a bachelor degree or equivalent.
