Course Content
This course is the first in Denmark to combine teaching at a high international level in the pathophysiological, preclinical and clinical aspects of the metabolic syndrome combined with hands-on training in the methodology of quantifying the components of the syndrome, where participants will practise on each other and determine their metabolic profiles.
Learning objectives, training objectives
After the course you will be updated on the definition, epidemiology, genetics, proteomics, molecular, pathophysiological and clinical elements of the metabolic syndrome.
Target Audience
The course is for professionals working within the pharmaceutical industry as well as national and international researchers and health care professionals with an interest in the metabolic syndrome.
Qualifications
Basic knowledge (minimum bachelor level) of human physiology, biochemistry and pathophysiology is a pre-requisite for participation.
