Course Content
This course will provide students with an in-depth understanding of the scope and manifestations of HIV-related diseases, their management and care. Special emphasis will be placed on co-infections, co-morbidities and psychiatric aspects of the infection. Resistant HIV is likely to become a major problem especially in resource-limited settings. The course will thus cover trends in transmission and treatment, and preventive strategies for the development and spread of resistant HIV.
