Course Content
A challenge in the field of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) is how to integrate it with work on HIV/AIDS. As sexual transmission is the leading mode of HIV transmission, this begs the question of how these two fields interact. Women is a “risk group” in many countries today and marriage is no longer the “safe haven” it was purported to be. This impacts on prevention messaging and interventions, be they from policy-makers, NGO service providers or health care professionals.
