Course Content
This symposium will focus on cardiac MRI from a diagnostic and clinical perspective. Diadactic sessions will include an explanation of appropriate clinical indications, details on image acquistion, and tips on post-processing analysis. Numerous case presentations will focus on examples of cardiac pathology that are readily diagnosed with cardiac MRI. When appropriate, comparisons will be made with other imaging modalities.
Learning objectives, training objectives
Recognize the MR appearance of normal cardiac anatomy, congenital anomalies and common pathology; Implement appropriate imaging protocols for cardiac MRI procedures into clinical practice; Assess the benefits & pitfalls of cardiac MRI in evaluation
Target Audience
This meeting should be of interest to physicians who perform, interpret, and/or order cardiac MRI studies. It should also be of benefit to those physicians and MRI technologists wanting to learn more about cardiac MRI.
Qualifications
No special educational preparation is required for this CME activity.
