Course Content
Involving stakeholders in policy/programme development and implementation is about enhancing ownership. We easily talk about stakeholder participation and consultation processes, but find this is easier said than done. Stakeholder processes need to be carefully designed and managed in order to achieve results and avoid disappointments.

Learning objectives, training objectives
At the end of this course, you will have a better understanding of the concepts of ownership and participation, and how these (may) affect stakeholder relations. You will understand the relationship between process and content.

Target Audience
You are responsible for the involvement of stakeholders in the development and implementation of policies/programmes and/or projects, or for 'stakeholder consultation processes'. You encounter many problems. Stakeholders do not participate
