This international journal covers biomedical and health sciences with a particular emphasis on topics relevant to human health in the tropics and the subtropics. Its scope includes the biology of parasites and vectors as well as contributions concerning either basic or applied research, the development of tools for diagnosis and disease control, clinical and community medicine and the epidemiology of communicable disease and health systems.
