Course Content

The course aims to provide an overview of the medical priorities and of the spectrum of clinical tropical diseases in South East Asia.

Learning objectives, training objectives

obtain an overview of the medical priorities in South East Asia

expand their clinical knowledge of the spectrum of endemic tropical diseases in South East Asia

acquire practical experiences in basic laboratory diagnosis and clinical managmement etc.

Target Audience

physicians specialized in infectious diseases who want to expand their clinical knowledge by the spectrum of clinical tropical medicine in South Eeast Asia

Qualifications

participants are supposed to hold a medical degree plus either (a) hold Diploma in Tropical Medicine (DTM&H or equivalent) or (B) have 1 year cumlative working experience in the developing world in a setting or specialized in Infectious Diseases

Fees

CHF 3.250,00
For students registered at the tropEd home institution the course fee is CHF 2990.-. This sum includes the registration fee of CHF 500.- which is due at the moment of acceptance.
