Kursinhalte
This course will address the role of multimodal neuroimaging (particularly using specific PET radiotracers) in clinical characterisation as well as therapy planning and assessment of brain tumours. As the most common primary brain tumour, glioma will be covered in extent. However, other frequent brain tumours like metastases, primary CNS lymphoma and meningioma, as well as the distinctiveness of pediatric brain tumours, will also be approached in detail.
Lernziele, Trainingsziele
understand challenges of clinical diagnosis and management of brain tumours,
learn about evidence supporting inclusion of PET in the diagnosis of brain tumours,
examine and compare the use and interpretation of different PET available radiotracers

The target audience includes nuclear medicine physicians, neurooncologists, neurologists, radiation oncologists and radiologists who want to deepen their knowledge in the field of nuclear neurooncology
