As in prior years, the aims of this symposium are to
-identify critical incidents and complications
-communicate unforeseen events
-develop strategies to avoid or minimize complications
-discuss the technical, procedural, ethical, phsychological and legal aspects of a complication.
The 2021 symposium will be co-directed by my dear friend Klaus Mergener, President of the ASGE.
