The Gastroenterology for the Hospitalist course will provide didactic offerings to hospital practitioners focusing on common GI diseases and situations encountered in the inpatient setting. It is geared towards hospitalists and advanced practice providers needing to consult gastroenterologists on patients with GI and liver diseases, such as GI bleeding, nutrition, inflammatory bowel diseases, left ventricular assist device (LVAD) patients, pancreatitis, cirrhosis, and acute diverticulitis.
