The EANS Research Courses have been running successfully since 1997. The ethos of the courses is to promote research training in Europe. Core topics include how to get funded, started and published. The courses include talks on how to obtain funding, how to write a paper and how to give an oral presentation. Previous interactive sessions have included how to analyse data in terms of statistics.

The courses are run by a faculty comprising members of the EANS Research committee and guest speakers. They are designed to be interactive with trainees bringing their own ideas for group discussion.

Zielpublikum
Recommended for qualified neurosurgeons or those within 6 months of qualification, but no restrictions - residents can attend the course too.
