Pharmaceuticals are one of the most regulated products in society and pharmaceutical policy is a hot topic on the political agenda. Pharmaceutical policy decisions affect the supply and use of medicines and have great impact on public health as well as the health and welfare of groups and individuals.
This course will focus on how pharmaceutical policies are made, how regulations are formulated and administered, and how policy making affects drug utilization.
Lernziele, Trainingsziele
Participants will get a broad knowledge of the pharmaceutical policy processes and will enable participants to become stronger players in developing concrete pharmaceutical policies and analyze the effect of drug policy decisions.
Zielpublikum
The course is for professionals working in the field of drug management, including decision-makers, administrators and health care practitioners within both the public and private sector.
Qualifikationen
Relevant bachelor degree or equivalent, a minimum of 2 years of relevant job experience within drug management or related areas, proficiency in English.
