15th to 17th March 2027, Singapore.
Public health is facing increasingly complex challenges, ranging from infectious diseases and demographic change to health inequalities, environmental threats and the growing demands placed on healthcare systems.
Under the theme “Advancing Public Health for a Stronger and Healthier World,” the meeting aims to promote interdisciplinary exchange, present current research and discuss practical approaches to improving population health worldwide.
A Broad Public Health Programme
The scientific programme covers a wide range of areas relevant to contemporary public health.
Topics include epidemiology and population health, infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance, maternal and child health, mental and behavioural health, community and primary healthcare, healthy ageing, public health nutrition, occupational health and public health education.
The programme also reflects emerging developments in areas such as digital health, health equity and strategies for strengthening sustainable and resilient healthcare systems.
Global Health and Disease Prevention
Global health challenges remain a central focus of the conference.
Sessions will address the prevention and control of infectious and non-communicable diseases, epidemiological surveillance and approaches to improving health outcomes at population level.
Particular attention is also being given to new technologies. One of the scientific presentations, for example, explores the use of AI-driven real-time surveillance for infectious disease detection and response in resource-limited settings, illustrating how digital tools may support future public health practice.
Health Equity and Stronger Healthcare Systems
Health equity is another important theme of IPHC 2027.
Differences in access to prevention, diagnosis and healthcare services remain major challenges across countries and populations. The conference therefore includes discussions on primary healthcare, healthcare delivery and strategies aimed at building more accessible and resilient health systems.
Primary care is represented within the scientific programme through topics such as family medicine, clinical screening and equitable access to healthcare.
From Research to Public Health Practice
A major objective of the conference is to connect scientific evidence with practical public health action.
The programme combines keynote sessions, expert panel discussions, research presentations and interactive workshops. This format is intended to encourage participants not only to present research findings, but also to discuss policy implications and practical applications in healthcare and population health.
The interdisciplinary structure of the conference also provides opportunities for networking and collaboration between researchers, practitioners and professionals from different healthcare and public health backgrounds.
