Please note that the first two weeks will consist of contact and non contact hours such as lecturers, seminars, group presentations and self study. The third week will be reserved for self study and the submission of assessments (Assessed students only).
 
Course Content
Addresses current, important issues in perinatal and newborn care. Issues covered include the links between newborn and child survival, perinatal asphyxia, low birth weight and parent-to-child transmission of HIV.

Designed for health professionals and managers working in the area of development, disability and international maternal and child health
