Course Content
The three-week course focuses on the fundamental theories and concepts in Disaster Management. It includes two weeks of lecture and one week of working on case studies in groups.
Learning objectives, training objectives
To understand the background and definitions of key concepts relevant to disaster management and be able to discuss disaster management from a system perspective
Target Audience
Individuals and professionals who are interested in any or all parts of Disaster Management
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field of study (eg. health sciences, social sciences, engineering, etc.) and at least 2 years of relevant working experience
