Annually, 2 million workers die due to workplace
accidents and diseases caused by work. The resulting
economic and personal burden is huge. In times of
globalisation it is important to be acquainted with
occupational health (OH) systems across the world. The
overall aim of this Summer School is to train those
currently involved in OH in low and middle income
countries on the most important aspects of OH in Europe.
In this context the OH system of the participating
countries are illuminated. |
