behalf of the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Health, Medicine
and Life Sciences at Maastricht University, it is our pleasure
to announce that the faculty has recently established a full
professorship career in European Public Health. Maastricht
University is actively seeking enthusiastic and visionary
candidates to fulfil this interesting position.
The Professor of European Public
Health, supported by the new to be established Department of
European Health (provisional name), will gain within five years
a European outlook which origins from the content of their
key-activities. Next to its educational and research activities
the department distinguish oneself in being active in European
projects which are related to the education and research in
health.
The active role of the department contributes to the valorisation
and dissemination of the qualities of the department in the
European area. The department is leading in and outside the
faculty in conceptualizing the European perspective towards
health.
