Many humanitarian aid professionals believe that negotiation is perhaps the activity in which they spend most of their time in both field and headquarters situations. Almost everything that humanitarian workers need to achieve must be negotiated with, from host governments to their own staff.

This course gives students an understanding of negotiation theory as well as practical historical and current applications of all types. Lectures are supported with group scenario-based exercises.

Humanitarian aid workers with 5-10 years of field experience

Prerequisiti

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution

Costi

USD 5.500,00

There is a course fee of $1,600.

All of IIHA short courses can be taken for academic credit and counted towards Fordham University's Master's in International Humanitarian Action (MIHA) or taken independent from the MIHA at a reduced cost of $915
