Health care communication in intercultural settings: From challenge to success

Going International

June 07, 2017, Kardinal König Haus, 1130 Vienna, Austria

Conference themes

At this conference, renowned experts will present their research findings in health care communication and share their practical experiences with successful language training as prerequisite for integration. These experts will talk about occurring problems and discuss how to overcome emerging obstacles and find feasible solutions.

Furthermore, the Erasmus+ project „Nursing on the Move“ will be presented. „Nursing on the Move“ is the new e-learning platform for nurses that was developed by eight partners with medical, academic and training backgrounds under the coordination of the University of Antwerp. Scenarios, video cases, strategies and tips will guide (pre)professional nurses to a more appropriate and more effective communication in their clinical setting.

You can expect scientific lectures, a panel discussion with health and communication experts talking about their experiences, and hands-on workshops.
