Course Content
This course educates students on the issues confronting humanitarian actors in leadership roles during times of crises (including cultural differences, gender, security, and emerging economies) and supplies participants with tools to deal with issues as they arise.
Learning objectives, training objectives
Learn the tools for successful management within the humanitarian context, including the use of needs assessments, mechanisms for accountability, strategic visioning and thinking, and knowledge of the principles governing the dynamics of leadership.
Target Audience
Humanitarian aid workers with 5-10 years of field experience
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
Local Organizer
Institute of International Humanitarian Affairs (IIHA)
