Course Content
Improving access to equitable and quality sexual and Reproductive Health, including HIV and AIDS related services is high on the global public health agenda. Effectively organising these services is thus a critical element of the health systems’ function. This module looks at ‘rights’ as being central and integral any discussion on sexual and reproductive health and this is one consideration that runs throughout the course.
Learning objectives, training objectives
State of the art in effectively responding to SRHR and HIV
Changing roles and responsibilities of the health sector in responding to SRHR and HIV
Reducing stigma and discrimination.
Enhancing voice, participation of marginalized groups
Target Audience
People with Academic training or professional qualification in a relevant area.
Qualifications
Work experience in a related area, including experience in management or planning in developing countries. Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Accreditation Organisation of the Nederlands and Flanders
Local Organizer
The ICHD/MPH is accredited by the Netherlands-Flemish Accreditation Organization (NVAO). A number of advanced ICHD modules are also accredited for the Master in International Health programme organized by tropEd, a network of European institutions.

This module builds on the state of the art evidence to identify and critically analyse the effective responses across the building blocks of the health system.
