HRH Professional Short Courses 2013/14

Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh / Institute for International Health and Development (IIHD)
27.01.2014 - 07.02.2014  Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh
2 weeks
Much attention has been focused recently on the shortage of numbers of clinical health professionals, but as country health systems reform to take account of changing health needs, changing demographics and globalisation, planners must consider radical ways to make the health workforce more responsive and sustainable. Human resource management for health systems are inadequate almost everywhere and the role is often allocated to people with no relevant background.

These short courses/workshops are designed for planners and professionals new to Human Resources for Health who wish to gain skills and insights into planning, managing and developing their workforce towards sustained growth in capacity.
