DGPPN Congress 2011: “Personalized psychiatry and psychotherapy”

Increasingly international attraction / International Track in English language offered

The German Association for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy (DGPPN) invites to the upcoming DGPPN Congress 2011 from 23 to 26 November 2011 at the International Congress Center (ICC) Berlin, Germany.

The DGPPN congress is no longer just a national meeting place, but increasingly attracts international attention. Closely connected to this is the most important change in the program schedule, which had already been started the last two years: the International Track in English language. The Congress is put under the theme “Personalized psychiatry and psychotherapy “. It will shed light on different aspects of the so-called “personalized medicine” focusing on the question of the tangible effects of multidisciplinary therapeutical approaches for the individual patient. Of further interest in this context are the limits of therapeutic practices without loosing track of the issue of non-response. But also this congress will attract notice to the health and life quality of therapists to point on the amount of energy that day-to-day is spent on the optimal treatment of psychically ill patients on the part of the discipline.
