Course Content

We are pleased to invite you to a 1-day interprofessional faculty development course that offers the opportunity to learn about a variety of innovative philosophies, strategies and methods for teaching and enhancing relational capacities, communication skills, attention to values and ‘everyday ethics’, professionalism, and interprofessional collaboration in healthcare.

Learning objectives, training objectives
  • Identify strategies to teach communication skills, professionalism, teamwork, relationship-centered care
  • discuss IPEP’s relational learning model -Program to Enhance Relational and Communication Skills (PERCS)
  • explore strategies for implementation
Target Audience

Physicians in all specialties, medical/healthcare, & interprofessional education leaders, clinicians/practitioners who work with patients of any age, multidisciplinary (nurses, social workers, psychologists, others), patient safety/quality staff.

Certifications

CME and Risk Management credits offered for Physicians.

CEU/CU credits: offered for Psychologists, Social Workers, and Nurses (all included in course fees)
